TIMOTHY J. RICE, ESQUIRE, PET TRUSTS: How to Provide for your Beloved Pet when you Pass

Hello, Patch Pet Lovers!

Oh, my, this is a very upsetting topic to discuss, but a very necessary one, if you have a beloved pet.  You provide proper nutrition, exercise, veterinary care, endless love and affection, stimulation, and security… know exactly what makes your furry baby happy, how to comfort them in a thunderstorm, what situations may cause anxiety, and you do what's necessary to help alleviate it.  We play their favorite games, buy six of their favorite toys in case they stop making them… and even sing to them while they eat their meals!

Some doggies like to walk a certain route, say hello to neighbors, and make pee on their favorite trees.  Some kitties have their routine as well... after meals, it's time to groom in their favorite sun spot, and expect that curtain to be pulled back to reveal the warm rays to bathe in... they wish to be pet, but have a sensitive spot on their back, nor do they want a belly rub, just under their chin, and you do exactly that!

We fulfill each and every one of our cherished furry baby's requests… allowing them to snuggle in bed with us, take car rides (properly restrained, of course) engage in social events together, and, often times, we must get their approval before accepting someone as our significant other!

So what would happen if you tragically died or became incapacitated and could not cater to your fluffy love's needs?

Think you have it covered by leaving a lump-sum amount and appointing someone; sadly, many "think" they do, and most pet owners have no contingency plans at all!
Now is your opportunity to hear an attorney speak about this horrible topic, and learn how to make the necessary preparations, both legally and financially.  The unknown is what makes it unbearable to think about… but once you have peace of mind for your pet's well-being and happiness, you'll wish it was addressed sooner, and feel tremendous relief!
