Why I Chose Lynn’s Animal Rescue to Receive Proceeds from South Jersey’s First Pet Symposium

Hello, Patch Pet Lovers!

I wanted to share why I chose Lynn’s Animal Rescue to receive proceeds from South Jersey’s First Pet Symposium, which serves as a colossal fundraiser for local Non-Profit 501 (c)3 NO-KILL animal rescues:

Lynn’s Animal Rescue is a one-woman wonder, saving the lives of many homeless, sick kitties, having them vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and providing a safe, loving home, and receive medical care, until a forever family is found.  Kitties may live their entire lives at Lynn’s Animal Rescue, if the right home is not found.  Cats are not kept in cages; they have free run of a kitty room, and also live in temporary homes, but with only a few foster families volunteering.

Not only does Lynn nurse ill cats back to health and rehome abandoned furry babies, she has a separate area for kitties whom are FIV and FeLV+, to live their lives in an affectionate and happy environment where they may thrive and receive veterinary care, if necessary, regardless of cost, if they are not adopted.

Read about how Lynn saved itty-bitty Maggie Mae:

“One day we received a phone call   from a woman who was terribly distraught. She had found two newborn kittens.  Their eyes were not even open yet.

“They were in terrible condition - with maggots crawling all over them and in and out of the umbilical cord opening that had not yet healed.

She begged Lynn for help. Without blinking an eye Lynn went right to work. She immediately began cleaning up the two babies and sterilized their wounds. It took over two hours to hand pick every single maggot off of their tiny frail bodies.

“Sadly, one did not survive. But Maggie Mae was a fighter. She survived her horrific start in life  and began to thrive. Lynn bottle fed her until she was able to eat on her own. She began eating like a little piglet and put on weight.

“When Maggie was old enough she was put up for adoption and is now happy and healthy in a loving forever home.”

About Lynn’s Animal Rescue:

Lynn’s Animal Rescue is a small loving organization with a very hands on approach. We do everything in our power to bring the ill back to good health, socialize the shy and timid and find the perfect home for every cat. We will keep them until we do, even if it means forever.

We are an animal rescue organization that aids in and facilitates rescues of animals in need.   We are involved in  aiding  with humane trap, neuter and release programs for feral cats. We also educate  potential adoptive parents and families in the proper ways to care for their current and newly adopted pets. We make sure all of our rescues are vetted, healthy, happy and properly suited for their new home. We build lasting and forever relationships with our adopters and have life-time placement for all of our adopted animals so that they will never end up without a place to go or in a dangerous situation.

Although we can’t save the world by ourselves, we can do our part by taking care of our portion of it: by doing for the animals in need what they can’t do for themselves; providing safe haven, educating, promoting awareness and continuing the cause in the Southern New Jersey area. We want to share our knowledge and expertise with others. We want to offer any guidance we can provide, aid others seeking knowledge and promote animal rescue by working together with others.
