WHY I CHOSE THE ANIMAL ADOPTION CENTER TO BE A RECIPIENT OF DONATIONS FROM SOUTH JERSEY'S 1st PET SYMPOSIUM UPCOMING ON APRIL 5TH!!!

Hello, Patch Pet Lovers!

In between playing with my furry friends in the snow… I've been working diligently organizing Palmyra's Pet Symposium, upcoming quickly, on Saturday, April 5th… it will be the first in South Jersey!!!

Reading the following update by the Animal Adoption Center, I felt it was the perfect opportunity to share why I chose them as a recipient of money to be raised from:  South Jersey’s First Pet Symposium “Integrative Care & Responsible Pet Parenting”.

"Dear Facebook Friends are you ready for a happy ending? We found our sweet Nero living on borrowed time at a local kill shelter. We simply fell in love with his sweet face and gentle demeanor and brought him to our center just in time for Christmas! While Nero got to enjoy the holidays in a safe and loving environment, the joy was sadly short lived. Nero become suddenly ill and we immediately rushed him to our emergency vet's office. Nero was diagnosed with sudden onset pneumonia and required IV antibiotics, nebulizer treatments and an extended stay at their 24 hour care facility. He was on oxygen and could not breath on his own had an IV and was in ICU. Nero was touch and go for a while, and thank goodness he pulled through.

While not giving up on our Big Boy is part of our no kill mission, our emergency funds are completely depleted and we drew on credit to pay this bill. If you would like to see us be able to continue to help animals like Nero who would never have made it without Animal Adoption Center, please consider making a donation athttp://www.gofundme.com/5ysnn0

No amount is too small and every dollar is greatly appreciated! Now to put a bow on the story, Nero has been adopted by a great family. As all our friends know, Animal Adoption Center is a no kill facility that receives no governmental assistance - We exist only on the generosity of our donors. If you believe we did the right thing saving Nero’s life (twice) please consider making a donation!

On behalf of Nero and the volunteers and staff that love him, thank you! We thank you to all of those how donated, to date we have raised $1,800, so we are $4,200 short on Nero’s bill.
