Starting July 11, 8 Straight Weeks of FREE concerts in Wood Park!

July features Cool Jazz, Girl Group Oldies and a Beatles Tribute Band

  • Spending the summer in Burlington County can feel like a "Stay-cation" for everyone who takes in the FREE summer music concerts planned for Thursday nights until the end of August in Cinnaminson's Wood Park.
July 11 at 7 p.m., enjoy COOL JAZZ with the CARL LETTERIE QUARTET. Last year, Carl brought along some outstanding friends. The music was top notch and the vibe was mellow --- perfect for a July night.  Come see what Carl has planned for 2013. SPECIAL LOCATION: Cinnaminson Middle School at 312 N. Fork Landing Road, in consideration of the heat wave.

Looking ahead to July 18, an adorable trio called THE MANHATTAN DOLLS is booked to do retro "girl group" hits from the 60s and 70s.  We can't wait.

The whole schedule is attached as a photo here, so you can plan ahead. We put all of our Thursday night shows on Patch.com's calendar so you can see pix and read details. Wood Park is located at the corner of Riverton Road and Pomona Road, 1/4 mile east of the pedestrian bridge over Rt. 130. It's easy to find. There are restrooms and swings and playground attractions for the kids. Bring your own lawn chairs.

We have a rain back-up plan too: if we're rained out of Wood Park (or weather is too threatening for electric instruments, etc.) you'll find us just about 1/2 mile away in the air conditioned Cinnaminson Middle School "cafetorium." That's at 312 N. Fork Landing Road.

Also, all summer, the snacks concessions will be run for charitable causes. So when you spring for a treat, you're helping advance a worthy cause.

Hope to see you there!
