Obituary: Charles E. 'Chuck' Hubler Sr.

Services for the longtime Cinnaminson resident will be held Friday evening.

Charles E. “Chuck” Hubler Sr., a resident of Cinnaminson for 33 years, died Dec. 24. He was 64 years old.

Hubler has worked as a machinist for Exacta V & H Corp. and Vermes Machine Co., Inc. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and never gave up on his Phillies and Eagles. Hubler was very active in Cinnaminson PAL soccer, baseball and hockey, and Cinnaminson AA Football before he became disabled. 

Hubler was the beloved husband of Cathy (nee Schneider) for 37 years, loving father to Chad (Becky) of Delanco, Michael of Cinnaminson and Ryan (Mallory Lewis) of Cinnaminson, adoring grandfather of Jason, and dear brother of Anne Pagiluso (John) of CA, John (Zoe) of Medford Lakes, Francis of Moorestown, Harry (Charlene) of SC, Thomas (Kevin) of DE and Ernie (Carol) of FL. He is also survived by his sister and brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Hubler's Life Celebration on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N., and on Saturday from 9 to 10:20 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Branch Pike and Pomona Rd., Cinnaminson. His Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 am. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, 1300 Route 130 N., Cinnaminson.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Chuck’s name may be made to the Fox Chase Cancer Research Center, Office of Institutional Advancement, 333 Cottman Ave., Phila., PA 19111 or by visiting www.fccc.edu, or to Cinnaminson PAL by contacting the township at 856-829-6000.
