Obituary: Mary J. Clements (nee Gordon)

Services will be held Monday at St. Charles.

Mary J. "Honey" Clements, of Manahawkin, NJ, formerly of Cinnaminson, NJ. Passed peacefully on June 6, 2012.

Born in Jersey City on March 19, 1923, Mary attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden. After graduating, she went to work for Bell telephone and shortly after that married her high school sweetheart, John, in 1946.

They moved to Cinnaminson in 1960 to raise a family. After her boys were grown, she and John built their new home on the water so she could watch the beautiful sunsets while sipping her Manhattan—she enjoyed them both equally. But, her real passion was Atlantic City. After her and John’s weekly treks over to A.C., nothing gave her more pleasure than coming home with some of “The Donald’s” money.
