More Strangers in town

As a follow up to my post of 18 Sep concerning the cutting of my front porch screen window I must report that just this week my next door neighbor's house was broken into and robbed.  To be honest concerning my incident I did unofficially notify the police.  My wife told the incident to an officer she met in a local business.  His reply was "there's a lot of that going around" and he did not advise to make a formal complaint.  So the message I got was....every man for himself.  I did not get the receptive response editor Rob Scott mentioned in his reply to my original post.  I will be locked and loaded.
