Older Kitty Looking for Love

Nala, a female domestic shorthair calico, is available for adoption at the Burlington County Animal Shelter.

It is heartbreaking to see the animals at the shelter who have been sadly surrendered by their owners because they can no longer afford to keep them. Nala is a beautiful female domestic shorthair calico, weighing only 6 pounds, and is around 10 years old.

Nala has been at the shelter for a long time and is getting frustrated being stuck in a small cage surrounded by cats. She prefers to be an only kitty, but enjoys being petted by the volunteers. She is litter box-trained. She is affectionate with people, but will prefer a patient, quiet home where she will feel safe and loved. Nala has many years of love to give a new family, so please consider adopting this nice girl.

Our shelter is overcrowded—please stop by soon.

Nala is a member of the shelter's Purrfect Perks Program. When you adopt Nala, you will receive a kitty goodie bag donated by a volunteer with the Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter.

Visit the shelter in Westampton and fill out an adoption application today. When calling the shelter at 609-265-5073, please refer to Nala's ID# C-53971.

Note: All cats will be spayed/neutered and tested for feline AIDS and feline leukemia before leaving the shelter.
