Additional Charges For Suspects in Burlington County Robberies

Three suspects charged in a pair of Burlington County robberies have been charged with additional robberies in Camden County, announced on Tuesday.

Elizabeth A. Albertson, 28, Charles Richards, 28, and Brian Hawthorne, 26, all of Cinnaminson, were arrested on Friday after a citizen reported a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of Wallace Avenue and Seventh Street.

They were charged in connection with the robberies of a 7-11 on Route 73 in Mount Laurel and Food Mart on Route 130 in Delran on Monday.

On Tuesday, they were additionally charged in the following robberies:

* The Liquor Mill, 200 block of South White Horse Pike in Magnolia on Jan. 13. Richards and Albertson were charged;

* The Wine Nova Store, 400 block of North White Horse Pike in Stratford on Feb. 2. All three defendants were charged;

* Pike Liquors, 600 block of North White Horse Pike in Lindenwold on Feb. 4. All three defendants were charged; and

 * Richards Liquors, 1200 block of the North Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township on Feb. 4 All three defendants charged.

Richards and Albertson were each charged with counts of first degree robbery, third degree unlawful possession of a firearm, second degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, fourth degree pointing a firearm and second degree conspiracy 2nd degree for each robbery. In total, each suspect was charged with 20 criminal counts.  

Hawthorne is charged with first degree robbery, third degree unlawful possession of a firearm, second degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, fourth degree pointing a firearm and second degree conspiracy for each robbery, resulting in 15 counts.  

Initially, law enforcement officials believed the trio was involved in the robbery of a 7-11 in Pennsauken on Jan. 10. However, it is now believed another group is responsible for that crime, and a $7,500 reward for information offered by 7-11 and the Prosecutor’s Office leading to an arrest and conviction in that case remains in effect.

In that case, three men entered the 7-11 on Westfield Avenue to rob it, and shot the clerk several times when he tried to alert authorities.

The terms of the reward issued by 7-11 are listed below.

7-11, Inc. of Dallas, Texas, is offering $5,000 total in reward money to the person or persons who furnish information resulting in the apprehension, arrest and indictment of the person or persons associated with injuring of a 7-11 sales associate shot on January 10, 2014, at the 7-11 store at 6001 Westfield Ave. in Pennsauken.

 

To qualify for the reward, persons with information should contact Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Detective Vincent McCalla at (856) 225-8569 or Pennsauken Police Detective Brian Polaski at (856) 488-0080. They may also submit a written claim for the reward no later than 30 days after indictment to the Asset Protection Dept. at 7-11, Inc., 1722 Routh St., Suite 1000, Dallas TX 75201.  The person or persons providing the requested information to the referenced authorities must have had knowledge of this offer at the time the information was provided in order to qualify for the reward.

Any dispute arising from the reward offer, including allocation between claimants of the reward, will be settled by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its rules and procedures, and its decision shall be final and binding on all parties.
