Police: Airbag Stolen From Car in Palmyra

The car was left unlocked overnight, police said.


A steering wheel air bag was stolen out of a car in Palmyra, officials said. 

Between 8 p.m., Dec. 5 and 8 a.m., Dec. 6, an air bag was stolen from a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt—which was unlocked—on the 900 block of Garfield Avenue.

Palmyra Police wants to remind residents the importance of locking your vehicle when it is not in use.

The sad part is.. an airbag from a steering wheel is big money in the aftermarket.. and SO EASY to take if the car is left open... People have no idea..
