UPDATE: Body Pulled from Delaware River in Camden

The incident happened on Camden's industrial waterfront area.

The body of a man pulled from the Delaware River in Camden Tuesday morning has yet to be identified, Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson said.

The man’s body, hauled from the river in the city’s industrial waterfront area around 9 a.m., was “in an advanced state of decomposition,” and an autopsy performed later in the day couldn’t determine the cause of death, Faulk said.

Those autopsy results are pending further testing, Faulk said, and authorities are still working to identify the man.
