Cinnaminson National Night Out Needs You

Cinnaminson Police need the community's support for its second, and growing, National Night Out.

Cinnaminson’s upcoming National Night Out is only in its second year, but police already plan an expansion for this year’s festivities. It’s not too late if you want to help shape National Night Out.

There is an organizational meeting on July 1 at 7 p.m. in the Cinnaminson Library meeting room for anyone who wants to help out with National Night Out. Residents can simply show up at the meeting or contact Officer Michael Czarzasty (MCzarzasty@cinnaminsonpolice.org) for more details.

The police department also is looking for business owners who want to be part of National Night Out, meant to strengthen police-community relations and focus on crime prevention.

Last year, Cinnaminson Police put on the town’s first National Night Out, held in the police station parking lot. This year, the Aug. 6 event goes Cinnaminson-wide with expansion into the community’s parks.

See Czarzasty’s letter below for anyone interested in providing a business sponsorship.

Dear Business Owner or Manager,

The members of the Cinnaminson Police Department are working with the members of the community to organize this year’s National Night Out, which will take place on August 6, 2013. Last year’s event was a huge success and we hope improve upon that and make this year’s event even better. National Night Out is a wonderful opportunity for the community to promote a police-community partnership, crime prevention, and neighborhood camaraderie. While this one night is certainly not an answer to crime, drugs and violence, National Night Out represents a positive spirit, energy and determination to help make neighborhoods a safer place year round.

Last year the event was held at the Cinnaminson Township municipal complex. This year’s plan is to expand the National Night Out initiative into the neighborhood parks to develop a stronger bond with residents of Cinnaminson. With the expansion of the event does come a need for more funding to make it a true success. We are asking if you or your business would like to make a donation and or sponsor the event. Donations may be monetary or a donation of services or goods.

$ 150 donation = Co-sponsor sign (two sponsors on same sign 18”X24”)

$ 250 donation = Sign sponsor sign (one sponsor on 18”x24”)

$ 400 donation = Co-sponsor banner (two sponsors on same banner 3’x6’)

$ 750 donation = Sponsor banner ( one sponsor on banner 3’x6’)

Each sign and banner will be displayed at the entrance to each event location.

If you are interested in making a donation or being a sponsor please send an email to mczarzasty@cinnaminsonpolice.org.

Thank you,

Officer Michael Czarzasty
