Officers nab township man for forgery.

Drug Arrest

Police here arrested a Cinnaminson man for forgery and obtaining controlled substances by fraud, according to officials.

Michael P. Hubler, 27, of the 400 block of Sherwood Drive in the township, was arrested on Feb. 24 in Riverton when police said he attempted to pass a fraudulent prescription for Oxycodone.

Cinnaminson police collaborated with Riverton police on the case. A check of Cinnaminson pharmacies led to the discovery that Hubler had forged a script for the same narcotic at the Route 130 Rite Aid in Cinnaminson on Feb. 8, police said.

Hubler was charged with both crimes and is in Burlington County Jail in default of $2,500 bail.

Feb. 22
Shoplifting Arrest

A Magnolia man was arrested Feb. 22 and charged with multiple counts after found stealing liquor bottles at Cinnaminson ShopRite.

Daniel R. Mach, 26, of Malibu Drive in Magnolia, was charged with one count each of shoplifting, hindering apprehension, false reports to police and false entries on governmental documents, police said. He was apprehended for stealing three bottles of liquor.

At the police station, police said Mach gave his brother's information in an attempt to avoid the shoplifting charge. He was remanded to Camden County Jail on numerous outstanding warrants and $5,000 bail for the Cinnaminson charges.

 

Feb. 15
Shoplifting Arrest

Cinnaminson police arrested an Edgewater Park man on Feb. 15 for attempting to steal liquor at the township's ShopRite.

Keithfer T. Nelson, 38, of Edgewater Manor Apartments, was charged with one count of shoplifting after he attempted to steal three bottles of Johnnie Walker Black scotch whiskey valued at $104.97, said police.

Nelson was brought to the Cinnaminson police station, processed and released on his own recognizance pending a court hearing.
