Cinnaminson man charged with making false emergency call.

False 911 Call 

Police arrested a Harbour Boulevard man after discovering he had given false information to the police while they were investigating him as a possible subject in a theft.

Police said Prinston G. Carter, 26, of the 100 block of Harbour Boulevard, made a 911 call reporting a robbery in progress at a different location. The call turned out to be unfounded, police said.

Later, police were speaking with the original theft victim who reported the accused lied about his name.

Carter was arrested and charged with hindering apprehension because he had an outstanding warrant from Beverly; false reports to police; and, making a false 911 call.

His bail was set at $2,500 and he was remanded to Burlington County Jail in default.  

 

March 17
Shoplifting Arrest

Police here arrested a Burlington Township man for shoplifting several items from the Cinnaminson WalMart on Route 130.

Travis L. Ross, 46, of the unit block of Tattersall Drive, was observed by loss prevention concealing several items, then attempting to leave the store without paying. 

Police said the total value of items was $274.

Ross was brought to the station, processed and released on his own recognizance pending court. 

 

March 18
CDS Arrest

A Burlington Township man was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance after he was discovered passed out in his car on Emerson Drive.

Tyler J. Mullarky, 18, of the 1200 block of Noreen Avenue, was found in his car with marijuana in plain view. Police had been called to the area for a large party. 

Mullarky was brought to the station, processed and released on his own recognizance pending court.
