Cinnaminson Police Investigate Armed Robbery

Officials said a man was robbed at gunpoint in front of his broken-down car.

Police here are investigating an Aug. 22 armed robbery against a man whose car broke down on Forklanding Road.

A 36-year-old man pulled his car over near the Route 90 bypass after experiencing engine trouble, officials said. The victim reported that a man approached his car, produced a handgun and demanded cash. 

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim and was last seen walking on Forklanding Road toward Route 73.

The victim was unharmed.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-10 to 6 feet, average build and wearing a gray shirt, officials said.

The incident occurred at 7:59 a.m.
