Cinnaminson Teen Arrested After Attack in Palmyra, Police Say

A Cinnaminson teen who attacked a 17-year-old boy from Palmyra faces multiple charges stemming from the incident, Palmyra Police said.

Sean Joyce, 18, used an unspecified metal object in the Aug. 11 attack, police said, hitting the 17-year-old in the eye and in the back of the head, and also kicked the boy in the chest.

Joyce had already run from the scene along Broad Street in Palmyra when officers arrived, police said, but was found later, arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Joyce was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in default of $20,000 full cash bail.

The 17-year-old victim was treated at a hospital and released, police said.
