Fire Department Releases January Call Information
The Jan. 11 house explosion and a serious motor vehicle accident added to the numbers.
The released its call information for the month of January. It is as follows:
70 — Medical Emergencies

According to Fire Chief Bill Kramer, these calls included many significant structure fires both in Cinnaminson and in surrounding towns. It also included a serious motor vehicle crash requiring a prolonged extrication effort; a natural gas explosion that destroyed a home and caused serious damage to surrounding homes; and a natural gas main broken by a contractor.
Kramer stresses the importance of immediately evacuating a building and calling 911 if a natural gas smell is apparent.
The fire department also stresses the importance of removing snow that blocks access to a fire hydrant.
