Four Charged in Paintball Attacks in Cinnaminson and Moorestown

Jordan Weaver and three juveniles were charged with shooting a bike rider and several homes.

A man and three juveniles have been charged in connection with a series of paintball attacks in Cinnaminson, Moorestown and Delran, Cinnaminson Police announced Wednesday afternoon.

Jordan Weaver, 18, of Delran, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, interference with transportation, possession of alcohol underage and numerous motor vehicle violations.

A male visited the Cinnaminson Police Department Monday night around 5:24 p.m. to report that he had been shot with paintballs from a car that had driven by him as he was riding his bike on Riverton Road.

He was riding from Moorestown into Cinnaminson. He was injured but refused medical treatment.

Cinnaminson Police were able to use the description given by the victim and the automated license plate reader database to identify the car.

At the same time, Moorestown Police were receiving reports of the same car allegedly driving by homes and shooting paintballs at them.

Cinnaminson Police eventually stopped the car on Arbor Road where Weaver and the three juveniles were arrested.

A second victim, a juvenile, was allegedly injured after being shot in the arm. He was injured.

The three juveniles captured alongside Weaver were charged with juvenile complaints and released to their parents.

Weaver was lodged in Burlington County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

The Moorestown and Delran police departments are also investigating alleged incidents that took place in their jurisdictions.

Any additional victims are asked to report personal injury or property damage to their local police department.
