Hit-and-Run Driver Arrested

Cinnaminson police work with Delran to find a Cumberland County man who was involved in a car accident and fled the scene.

arrested a Cumberland County man after he fled the scene of an accident Wednesday that occurred on Route 130 and Tenby Chase Drive on the Cinnaminson/Delran border, officials said.

Martin M. Harrington, 26, of Seabrook, was involved in a motor vehicle accident, police said, and upon fleeing, was found driving south on Route 130. Harrington was stopped on Westfield Avenue in Pennsauken, just off Route 130.

An investigation revealed that Harrington was driving with a suspended driver's license and had arrest warrants out of Gloucester City, Camden County and Hamilton Township, Atlantic County.

Harrington was arrested, and after processing, was turned over to Hamilton Police Department. He was charged with driving with a suspended license by Cinnaminson police and his information was turned over to Delran police for their case.

Charges are pending in that jurisdiction.
