Authorities Investigate Another Burlington County Bank Robbery

Police say an unidentified man hopped the counter at the TD Bank in Moorestown and grabbed handfuls of cash, then fled.

An unidentified man vaulted the counter at TD Bank on Main Street in Moorestown Friday afternoon and made off with an unknown amount of cash, according to police.

Moorestown Police said the man entered the bank around 5:52 p.m., climbed over the teller counter and took the cash, fleeing on foot into the neighborhood behind the bank. The suspect did not show a weapon or produce a note during the robbery.

There were no injuries to employees or patrons of the bank, police said.

There were 24 bank robberies in Burlington County in 2013, nearly 20 of which occurred in the last two months of the year.
