Another example of poor quality useless cameras used in banks. I asked the PNC branch mgr in Cinnaminson if they had outdoor cameras. He said only at the MAC machines. Walmart probably has 50 parking lot cameras. Banks should have them all over their property, some at eye leve to record getaway car details, driver, direction of escape etc. Maybe even the mask is down when approaching the bank. He said he would mull it over! Wake up. No brainer to me.

The cost of the cameras isn't really that much and would pay for its self in the long run !!

I would point out that the main purpose for cameras in the banks is to tract their own employees, to make sure they are meeting compliance a and not stealing. If they can be used to catch footage of a robbery than that is a bonus. But I agree, better cameras would be a good deterrent, but not cheap when you factor in the number of stores

PNC spent a lot of money installing cameras in their lobby, even in the door frame going out, but none outside. WalMart has many in their parking lot and probably doesnt think it is a lot of money installing them in their hundreds of stores.
