UPDATE: Man Remains Wanted in Robbery, Attempted Sexual Assault

Cameras show a man who allegedly attempted to rob Lilly's Market in Woodlynne and assault the cashier. Police say he is wanted in at least four other incidents.

Authorities remain on the lookout for a man they say is wanted in a string of convenience store robberies in which he also allegedly attempted a sexual assault.

On Sunday evening, just before 7 p.m., the suspect allegedly entered Lilly's Market in the 2000 block of Woodlynne Avenue in Woodlynne. After bringing a few items to the register, police say he pulled a silver handgun on the cashier, and took money out of the register.

According to a statement from the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, the man then "locked the front door of the business and ordered the woman working at the register into the bathroom," where he locked the door and ordered her to perform oral sex on him. The woman "pretended she didn’t understand him and he fled."

The man is described as a black male, five-foot-four inches to five-foot-five inches tall. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black jacket and a ski mask.

  • November 11 in Woodlynne—robbery on the street at Woodlynne Avenue and Evergreen Avenue 
  • November 14 in Woodlynne—Xpress Mart, 2500 block of Woodlynne Avenue
  • November 19 in Haddon Township—Mucha Luncha Store, 3000 block of Mount Ephraim Avenue
  • November 20 in Camden—Delmonte News, 2900 block of Mount Ephraim Avenue

In each incident, except the most recent in Woodlynne, authorities say the man was aided by an accomplice.
