Palmyra Man Faces 10 Drug, Child Endangerment Charges

Jason E. Greene, 31, was also wanted on child support and a fugitive warrant, police report.

A Palmyra man was slapped with multiple drug and child endangerment charges after township and state police raided his home Wednesday.

Palmyra Police said they had conducted a “lengthy” investigation against Jason E. Greene, 31, before serving the search warrant at the Berkley Avenue home. Police also discovered during the investigation that he was wanted on a child support warrant and as a fugitive in Pennsylvania.

All told, Greene was charged with:

  • Two counts of endangering the welfare of a child
  • Distribution of cocaine
  • Distribution of a prescription legend drug
  • Distribution of marijuana
  • Possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance in a school zone
  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession of prescription legend drug
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

Those charges totaled $25,000 in bail. He was given an additional $37,467.97 bail for outstanding child support, and $25,000 bail for the fugitive charge from Pennsylvania.

Unable to post the $87,467.97, Greene was held at Burlington County Jail pending a court appearance.

Meanwhile, Tina Budd, 36, of Palmyra, was also arrested during the search warrant execution and charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. She was jailed on $10,000 bail, which she paid and was released.

Greene previously was convicted of assault and sentenced in 2011 to three years probation, according to state records. Budd was sentenced in February 2012 to five years probation for drug possession/distribution in a school zone, state records show.
