Palmyra Police Blotter

A burglary suspect was taken into custody.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Palmyra Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction. The information is from incidents from July 30 to Aug. 5.

July 30, 8:36 p.m.

Palmyra police were dispatched to a residence on 6th Street for a victim who had just been stabbed during an altercation.

Police arrived and the victim, who had suffered two stab wounds, was being tended to by friends, police said. The victim had been stabbed in the shoulder and neck area, it was reported.

The detective was immediately called out and police began speaking to witnesses. It was learned the two men involved in the altercation were fighting over food at a party.

Police charged Robert Allen, 55, of Moorestown, with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes. Allen was arrested in the early morning hours of July 31 without incident, and lodged in the Burlington County jail with a bail of $35,000.  

The victim was treated and released from the hospital.

July 31

Police were dispatched to Wawa on Broad Street and Cinnaminson Avenue for a report of a stolen bike. The victim told police he parked his black Electra Beach Cruiser on the side of the building while he went in to shop. He returned a short time later to find the bike missing and another unknown patron told him he saw someone leave with the bike heading toward Riverton, said police. The bike is valued at $300.

Police said the store is usually busy at that time of day and there were likely other witnesses. If anyone saw someone riding away on this bike, contact Palmyra PD with any information at 856-829-0191.

Aug. 4, 8 a.m.

Palmyra officers were dispatched to a residence on the 600 block of Garfield Avenue for an alarm activation. Arriving officers found that the back door to the residence had been forced open. As officers were checking this residence, police were notified by Central Communications of a subject breaking into a residence through a rear window on the 600 block of Washington Avenue.  

Officers responded to that area and began checking for the suspect described by the caller. An officer found the subject on the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue and the subject fled from police.

Officers chased the subject on foot across Broad Street where the subject attempted to lose officers in rear yards on Maple and Morgan avenues. The subject was found on the 500 block of Garfield Avenue and was taken into custody. Further investigation found the subject had also attempted to break into an additional house on the 600 block of Washington Avenue.

Andrew M. Feole, 24, of the 1000 block of South Broad Street, Trenton confessed to attempting to break into three homes just prior to running from officers, police said.

Feole was charged with two counts of burglary, criminal attempt of burglary, criminal mischief, criminal trespass and eluding police. He was lodged in Burlington County Jail on $65,000 bail.
