Police charge a Riverside woman with drug offenses.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Palmyra Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction. The information is from incidents from Sept. 3 to 8.

Sept. 6, 7:24 p.m.

A Palmyra police officer saw two females on the light rail platform sharing a cigarette. The one female then threw the cigarette to the ground, police said. The officer concluded the cigarette was marijuana and began questioning the two females about their behavior.

An investigation revealed that one female, Danielle Bushie, 31, of Riverside, was in possession of suspected heroin, drug paraphernalia, possession of prescription drugs not prescribed to her, and had two outstanding warrants for her arrest.

Bushie was taken into custody without incident and charged. She was later transported to Minimum Security Facility of Pemberton because she could not post bail of $10,000 with 10 percent.

The other female, Jennifer Swinney, of Palmyra, was charged on a special complaint for loitering to purchase controlled dangerous substance and released at the scene.
