Palmyra Police Nab Camden County Man for Pot

The Sicklerville man was arrested for possession.

 

A Sicklerville man was nabbed on marijuana charges when Palmyra Police stopped him on Route 73, officials said.

Around 10:14 p.m., Dec. 3, Palmyra officers stopped a white Ford van. A strong odor of burnt marijuana was emanating from the vehicle, officers reported.

Officers searched the car with consent from the driver and found a plastic bag with green leafy vegetation inside believed to be marijuana. A glass pipe used to smoke marijuana was also found.

Ronnie Cruz II, 30, of Sicklerville, was arrested for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Cruz was processed in Palmyra, served with a complaint warrant and released pending court.
