Police: 10 Juveniles Charged with Alcohol Possession on St. Paddy's Day

The following information is from the Cinnaminson Police Department.

March 17, 8:32 p.m.

arrested an intoxicated 17-year-old female on St. Patrick's Day after she allegedly struck three parked cars.

The motor vehicle crash happened on the 2200 block of Derby Drive. There was damage done to all three cars, said police.

The juvenile attempted to flee the scene but police said she only made it 250 feet down the road. 

She was charged with numerous motor vehicle summons including driving while intoxicated. She was also charged with underage possession of alcohol.

March 17, 10:47 p.m.

Cinnaminson Police broke up a house party in the 2400 block of Church Road on St. Patrick's Day after a noise complaint brought them to the neighborhood.

Police found juveniles drinking alcohol.

One male refused to comply with the officer's directions, said police, and was placed under arrest. A 17-year-old male then assaulted the arresting officer to aid the escape of the first subject, who police said ran off while still handcuffed.

The second male was taken into custody. The first male was identified and later arrested.

Both juveniles were charged with aggravated assault on police, escape and resisting arrest. The homeowner was charged with maintaining a disorderly residence. Nine juveniles were charged with possesion of alcohol and turned over to their parents.

A resident from the 400 block of Willow Drive called police when she discovered that someone had attempted to enter her residence by cutting the screens and attempting to open four of her windows.

Entry was not gained and police are requesting that residents keep doors and windows locked and to report any suspicious activity to police by calling 856-829-6666.
