Police: Cinnaminson Woman Tried to Steal Liquor

A Pennsauken woman was also found in possession of stolen makeup when she was stopped in town.

Shoplifting arrest

 here arrested a Cinnaminson woman after loss prevention officers at saw her shoplifting alcohol from the store, according to reports.

Tanya C. Simmons, 38, of the 600 block of South Randolph Avenue, was observed concealing more than $300 worth of alcoholic beverages and attempting to leave the store without paying.

Simmons was brought to the station, processed and released on a summons. She was charged with shoplifting.

She was also charged with defiant trespassing after police found she had been previously banned from ShopRite after an incident last year.

Stolen property arrest

After she was stopped for crossing against a traffic light, a Pennsauken woman was found to be in possession of more than $300 worth of stolen MAC cosmetics, Cinnaminson police said.

Michelle Daniels, of the 5000 block of Madison Avenue, was stopped at Route 130 South and Cinnaminson Avenue. Police found she had an outstanding warrant from Cherry Hill and she was taken into custody.

Daniels had $330.50 worth of cosmetics on her she claimed she purchased for $70 on the street in Camden.

She was charged with receiving stolen property and crossing against the light. Daniels was remanded to Burlington County Jail in default of $3,100 bail.
