Police: Man Brought Crack Pipes to Court

The Cherry Hill man also resisted arrest, cops said.

arrested a Cherry Hill man after he arrived at court with drug paraphernalia and subsequently resisted arrest when officers took him into custody.

David A. Tomasello, 45, of the 200 block of Kings Croft, entered chambers at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 9, police said. When he was told to empty his pockets to go through the mandatory metal detectors, Tomasello appeared hesitant, police reported. After placing a pack of cigarettes down, inside the box were several glass pipes using to smoke narcotics.

The court officer attempted to arrest Tomasello and he tried to break free. He was taken to the ground and placed in handcuffs.

Tomasello was charged with possession of CDS paraphernalia and resisting arrest. He was remanded to Burlington County Jail in default of $5,000 cash bail.
