Police: Man Charged with Assault

The following information comes directly from Cinnaminson Police. It does not indicate a conviction.

An assault that happened in Cinnaminson sent a Willingboro man to Burlington County Jail Monday, police here reported.

Etienne J. Tucker, 27, of the unit block of Riverview Place, was arrested by Pennsauken Police at 3 p.m., April 16. The female victim sought assistance at Wendy's on Route 130.

The victim, a 24-year-old Beverly resident, said she was assaulted at the in Cinnaminson earlier in the day and was then restrained from leaving by the accused subject.

Police said she was then put into a car and as it was traveling south on Route 130, she jumped out of the car and went to Wendy's for help.

Tucker later allegedly went to the Pennsauken Police Department where he was arrested and turned over to after it was learned the assaulted happened here.

The victim remains in Cooper Hospital as of press time and is being treated for a series of injuries. 

Tucker was charged with one count of aggravated assault and criminal restraint. He was processed and sent to Burlington County Jail in default of $100,000 bail.
