Police: Man Forged Documents

The following arrest information was supplied by the Cinnaminson Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Cinnaminson Police arrested a Delran man after he presented a counterfeit document to the municipal court that claimed he was in the hospital instead of at his court date, said.

Francis P. Notte, 40, of the unit block of Woodcrest Lane, failed to appear in court Tuesday and a $500 bail was issued. After Notte called to find out his bail amount, police said when he arrived to pay, he gave a court staff member a document he created—a claim he had been admitted to Lourdes Hospital in Willingboro, and was there during the time court was in session.

According to the police report, the court staff noticed the document was poorly constructed and called the police.
