Police: Man Robbed, Assaulted Man Near Palmyra Bar

Police said three men assaulted and robbed a person who was walking home from Park Tavern near Filbert Street in Palmyra.

Shortly after 2 a.m. on Oct. 28, the subject said three men approached him near Spring Garden and Filbert streets. One of the men demanded the victim give up his money, police said. The victim did, but the man continued to strike him in the head causing the victim to fall to the ground.

The suspects fled with the victim's money.

A passerby helped the victim back to Park Tavern to call police. The victim sustained a severe head injury.
