Police Nab Two—One from Cinnaminson—During Daytime Burglary

A police officer was injured during a foot pursuit but was treated and released.

A Cinnaminson police officer suffered minor injuries today after chasing a burglary suspect in the township's East Riverton section, police said today.

Two men were arrested and charged with burglary after police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Broad Street for a burglary in progress. The accused had broken a window and entered the home around 1:20 p.m.

Police arrested one man without incident. The second subject fled on foot but was apprehended near Rowland Street.

Dwight Williams, 21, of Normandy Drive in Mt Laurel, was arrested and charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief, and hindering apprehension. He was lodged in Burlington County Jail in default of $50,000 bail.

Kevin Richardson, 20, of South Read Street in Cinnaminson, was arrested and charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of resisting arrest, theft, and criminal mischief. He was lodged in Burlington County Jail in default of $50,000 bail.
