Police: Palmyra Man Fought with Store Employees During Robbery

The following arrest information was supplied by the Cinnaminson Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Palmyra man was arrested Wednesday after attempting to steal from then fighting with loss prevention members at the Cinnaminson store, police said.

Larry W. Blair Jr., 33, of the 100 block of Market Street, was charged with strong armed robbery. He was observed by loss prevention officers with two bottles of Hennessey liquor and a pair of socks. He attempted to leave the grocery store without paying.

Blair allegedly fought with loss prevention officers as they tried to stop him. Police said it took three employees to secure Blair until arrived.

One loss prevention officer was injured, but did not require hospitalization.

While Blair was being processed, police found he had several warrants from Cinnaminson, Camden and Stratford, totaling $1,146.

Blair was remanded to Burlington County Jail on the warrants and robbery charge. Bail was set at $20,000 full cash.
