Riverton Police Blotter

A Cinnaminson man allegedly was found with marijuana.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Riverton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction. 

Aug. 6, 10:55 p.m.
Riverton police stopped a subject on the 400 block of Thomas Avenue.  The subject, who was later identified as Joshua O’Toole, 23, of the 300 block of Market Street in Gloucester City, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant out of Gloucester City for $800. Officers discovered a hypodermic needle on him. O’Toole was charged with possession of a hypodermic needle and subsequently released.

Aug. 10, 9:26 p.m.
Officers stopped a subject in the area of Broad and Main streets. An investigation revealed the subject, who was later identified as Evan Brooks, 22, from the 1900 block of River Road, Cinnaminson, was in possession of marijuana less than 50 grams and possession of a prescription legend drug in amount of five or more dosage units. Brooks also had an outstanding warrant out of Elizabeth Municipal Court for $250. Brooks was released after he was released on his own recognizance from Elizabeth Municipal Court and he posted his bail for his charges out of Riverton. Brooks had a $500 bail with 10 percent option.
