Riverton Police Blotter

Beverly woman charged with shoplifting, was in possession of drug paraphernalia.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Riverton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction. 

Aug. 30, 11:24 a.m.

Riverton officers were dispatched to CVS on Broad Street for a shoplifting report. Officers responded to the area and found a female that fit the description fleeing the store. Officers were able to apprehend the female who was identified as Sasha Mimms, 23, from the 500 block of Bridge Street in Beverly. Mimms was charged with shoplifting $24 worth of baby formula. Mimms was also in possession of hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia. Mimms was turned over to Mt. Laurel on an outstanding warrant out of their town.

Sept. 2, 3:05 p.m. 

Officers responded to the area of Bank and Linden avenues for a report of subjects smoking controlled substances. After a short investigation, officers took Christopher Johnson, 19, of the 100 block of Rittenhouse Drive in Willingboro, into custody. Johnson was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana. Johnson was taken to Burlington County Jail with bail at $2500, no 10 percent option.
