Woman forged checks, man arrested at park for drugs.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Riverton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction. 

Sept. 20

Riverton Police arrested Gwendolyn Greene, 54, of Endwell Lane in Willingboro, for theft by deception as a result of a police investigation. Greene stole several bank checks from one individual's home, wrote the checks out payable to herself, forged the victim's signature, and subsequently cashed the checks totaling $9,255 at various area banks. Greene was transported to the Burlington County Jail in default of $20,000 bail.

Sept. 19

Riverton Police arrested Michael Moore, 49, of Woodlane Road in Westampton, at Riverton Park for possession of drug paraphernalia. Moore also had several outstanding warrants from four local police departments and was turned over to the East Windsor Police Department. Moore is scheduled to appear in Riverton Municipal Court for the drug possession charge.

Sept. 17 

Two bicycles valuing approximately $400 were stolen from the front porch of a home in the 200 block of Fulton Street in Riverton, police said. The theft occurred sometime between 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 and 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 18.
