Teen Arrested on Drug Charges: Police

Information provided by Palmyra Police. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

A Hainesport teen was arrested in Palmyra last week on drug charges, including cocaine possession, according to police.

A Palmyra officer stopped a man and woman who had illegally crossed Cinnaminson Avenue on foot last Saturday, according to a report. As the officer was speaking to them, he asked if either had any drugs on them. The woman—later identified as Nicole Piselli, 19, of Hainesport—handed over her purse and allowed the officer to look inside, where he noticed several wax folds (commonly used to store narcotics), along with other drug paraphernalia, the report stated. The officer also discovered a needle in Piselli’s purse.

Piselli was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic syringe. The charges were placed on a summons and Piselli was released pending court.

She also had two outstanding warrants out of Riverside in the amount of $250 and Camden City in the amount of $350, police said. Both courts released Piselli on her own recognizance.
