Teen Bites, Strikes Pellet Gun Owner During Theft: Police

Palmyra Police have charged Sean McCausland with aggravated assault and robbery.

A Palmyra teen clocked a man in the head and bit him in the course of stealing his pellet gun, according to police.

Palmyra Police said Sean P. McCausland Jr., 19, stole the pellet gun from a Berkley Avenue resident’s home while both men were at the residence on June 26. A fight ensued after the owner of the gun confronted McCausland, during which the teen struck the man in the head with the gun and bit three of his fingers, police said. McCausland fled the scene on foot.

Police arrested McCausland on Monday following an investigation and charged him with aggravated assault, robbery and theft. He was sent to Burlington County Jail on $50,000 bail.
