Truck Crash Leads to Widespread Power Outages

One person sustained minor injuries in the Thursday morning crash that caused headaches for Route 130 commuters, according to Cinnaminson Police.

A pickup truck crashed into a utility pole after colliding with another truck on Route 130 Thursday morning, knocking out power to the surrounding area and causing serious traffic delays.

Cinnaminson Police said the trucks collided near the Cinnaminson Sticks Learning Center around 9:30 Thursday morning. After the impact, one of the trucks slammed into a utility pole on the side of the highway, which was connected to a nearby transformer.

The collision knocked out power to the traffic lights at the intersection, as well as a number of businesses nearby—including Planet Fitness and Nick's Pizza and Pasta—and as far away as Delran, Pennsauken and Palmyra, police said.
