Two Burglaries Reported Monday

Jewelry was taken from a home on Chestnut Hill Drive.

Two burglaries were reported in Cinnaminson on Halloween about two miles apart during the daytime hours, said.

One home, on Chestnut Hill Drive, suffered jewelry loss.

Entry to the home on the 2500 block was made by an unsecured rear window. The burglar reached in and opened the back door.

The master bedroom was targeted, police said, and an undetermined amount of jewelry was taken including several high school rings.

Between 8 a.m. and around 2:15 p.m., an attempted burglary took place on the block of 300 Cambridge Drive. Police said the actors forced the front door open but were possibly scared away by dogs inside the home.

A child who lives at the home returned home from school Monday afternoon to find the door wide open. He called his mother, who then called police.
