Two Cars Overturn on Route 130

A Delanco man and another driver were involved in an accident early Sunday morning causing both vehicles to overturn on Route 130, said.

Connor Dickson, 19, of the 600 block of Laurel Street in Delanco, lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway and then struck a telephone pole. He then re-entered the roadway and struck another vehicle, causing both to overturn at around 9:15 a.m. Sunday.

Both vehicles were traveling northbound on Route 130. The accident occurred between Highland Avenue and Meetinghouse Drive.

After a police investigation, Dickson was found to be under the influence of synthetic cannabis, a chemical product. He was charged with various motor vehicle offenses, including driving while intoxicated.

Both drivers were transported to a local hospital, where they were treated and released.

Dickson was released pending court.
