Update: Body Found in Delaware Identified

Police are investigating the case as a potential suicide.

Palmyra Police have identified the body recovered from the Delaware River last Sunday as Tyrone Taylor Jr, 27. He resided in the 2100 block of North Harbour Drive in Palmyra.

Police are handling the case as a suicide.

Palmyra Police released a photo of the man found over the weekend in the Delaware River. They are still seeking the public's help in identifying the man.

Police said in addition to the other features described below, there is a large scar on the subject's left knee.

Palmyra Police need the public’s help to identify a body found early Sunday morning in the Delaware River.

The unidentified black male was found at 7:10 a.m. Sunday, according to reports.

The deceased is described as approximately 6-foot-1 to 6-foot-3 and 280-300 pounds. The man had cornrows and a goatee and was wearing black sweatpants with the words “Ecko Unlimited” on the thigh area. He also was wearing a black T-shirt.
