Woman Charged With Possession of Meth, Pills

Burlington City woman didn't have prescription.

A Burlington City woman was arrested on drug charges in the East Riverton section of the township, according to .

Donna Lee Delena, 51, of the 300 block of Elm Street, was observed entering a red car after police responded to a report of a suspicious person on South Randolph Street. A motor vehicle stop was initiated on Rowland Street at Industrial Highway. Police spoke with Delena who turned over five pills that she did not have a prescription for.

Delena was taken into custody and while an officer searched her, a small amount of methamphetamine was found. Delena was brought to the station, processed and released on summons to appear on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of controlled dangerous substances, failure to give CDS to police and possession of paraphernalia.
