Women Chases After iPhone Thief, Police Say

Cinnaminson Police took a 24-year-old township man into custody after he allegedly stole the phone from the woman at the library.

A woman took off after an iPhone thief when he snatched the phone out of her hand at the library Wednesday, according to police.

Cinnaminson Police said they were dispatched to the library on Riverton Road—next door to the police department—for a physical altercation just before 4 p.m. Wednesday. Officers encountered a distraught woman in the Acme plaza parking lot, who told them she was chasing after a man who had assaulted her and taken her iPhone at the library.

One of the officers went after the man and took him into custody after a brief foot pursuit. Police charged Sean M. Milligan, 24, of the 300 block of Boxwood Lane, with robbery, theft, terroristic threats and obstruction. He was lodged in Burlington County Jail in default of $50,000 bail.
