Burlington County Courts to Host Anti-Bullying Seminar

The free seminar for parents and members of the public will focus on the ramifications of bullying.

The New Jersey Judiciary submitted the following news release:  

The Superior Court of New Jersey, Burlington Vicinage Advisory Committee on Minority Concerns will hold a seminar on anti-bullying awareness on Wednesday, May 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Eastampton Community School, 1 Student Lane, Eastampton.   

Parents and members of the public are invited to attend this free program. Light refreshments will be served.   

The program will provide up-to-date information on bullying and its ramifications in the legal, psychological, educational and law enforcement fields. Speakers will include Ambrose Duckett III, assistant principal of the Eastampton Community School; Dr. Joy Duckett, a psychologist; Ptl. Daniel Snyder, Eastampton Police Department; and attorneys Deirdre Webster Cobb, Kim C. Belin and Amelia Carolla.   

The Superior Court’s Advisory Committee on Minority Concerns is made up of members of the Burlington County community, bar association members, and court employees. The committee is charged with helping the court improve the administration of justice for all court users and to increase communication with the community by offering educational programs on court services and programs.
