Burlington County Hosts Seminar on Helping Disabled in Emergency Situations

The session takes place July 17 and includes a free disaster kit.

The Burlington County Health Department, Burlington County Emergency Management and Virtua Health will co-host an interactive training session for people with disabilities, their families and friends.

The training session will help people prepare for assisting those with disabilities in emergency situations. Attendees receive a free disaster kit, valued at $50, one per household while they are available.

The session takes place July 17 from noon-2 p.m. at the Emergency Services Training Center Academy Drive Complex on 53 Academy Drive in Westampton.
