Both bodies will elect—or reappoint—new leaders this week.

McCarthy is entering his second year on township committee, while Minniti has served on committee since 2002.

McCarthy will continue to act as liaison to public safety, while Minniti will continue in his role as liaison to economic and community development.

Committee members Ben Young, Don Brauckmann and Kathy Fitzpatrick will serve as liaisons to Public Works, Parks and Recreation/wellness and senior services, and administration, respectively.

Township committee and the board of education may look a little different following this week's reorganization meetings.

No new committee members were elected in 2013, so the faces won't change, but Committeewoman Kathy Fitzpatrick—who was reelected for a third term—will be sworn in at committee's reorganization meeting Monday night. Committee will also elect a mayor and deputy mayor. Committeemen Ben Young and Anthony Minniti, respectively, currently serve in those roles.

Committee will also make a number of appointments and reappointments, including township solicitor and to various boards and committees.

An agenda for committee's reorganization was not immediately available. The meeting will be held Monday night in the municipal building.

Meanwhile, incumbent school board members Jean Cohen, Pam Crepps and Harry Shea will all be sworn in to new terms at Tuesday night's BOE reorganization meeting in room 120 at Cinnaminson Middle School.

The board will also elect a president and vice president. Cohen and Jacqueline Plunkett, respectively, currently serve in those capacities.

In addition, the board will make a number of appointments and reappointments, including solicitor (Stephen J. Mushinski and Frank Cavallo, of Parker McCay) and architect (Garrison).

The reorganization meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. Visit the district website for the full agenda. The board will hold its next regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21.

There are also a number of activities for youngsters at the Cinnaminson branch of the Burlington County Library this week, including a musical sing-along and 3D arts and crafts. Check the event calendar on Cinnaminson Patch for more.

The Cinnaminson Community Chorus will hold rehearsals in the chorus room at Cinnaminson High School Tuesday night. No auditions necessary—just stop in and sing, and make some new friends.
