Committee Advances Bill Allowing Some New Jersey Teachers to Live Out of State

Teachers who live near Pennsylvania and New York, including those in Camden and Burlington counties, would be permitted to live out of state, according to the Burlington County Times.

A bill that was advanced by a State Senate committee on Thursday would allow teachers in New Jersey counties along the border of New York and Pennsylvania to live out of state, the Burlington County Times reports.

This includes Burlington and Camden counties. If passed, it would revise a state law passed in 2011 that requires public workers to live in state, according to the report.
