Public Hearing

The Burlington County Office of Aging will hold its annual public hearing on Friday, June, 1, 2012, giving the County’s older residents an opportunity to comment on the wide array of services offered by the agency.

The hearing is open to all interested parties and will be held from 10 AM to 12 Noon in Lecture Hall A of the Human Services Facility, 795 Woodlane Road, Westampton.

“The hearing is an opportunity for seniors to learn about the many services and programs offered by the County, and also provide their thoughts and ideas,” said Freeholder Mary Ann O’Brien.

The County’s nutrition programs, including Meals on Wheels and the congregate meal sites, are among the most popular offered by the Board of Chosen Freeholders through the Office on Aging.

The Office also provides senior citizens with information and counseling on such others matters as transportation, legal assistance, home health services, respite care, and adult day care.
