Five Things You Need to Know About Tonight's Reorganization Meeting

Don Brauckmann will be sworn in by N.J. Rep Jon Runyan.

1. will be Cinnaminson's 152nd mayor. Brauckmann started as an assistant sports coach in town because he wanted to get more involved, he said. He'll be sworn in as mayor tonight, the same day as his 42nd birthday.

2. Brauckmann's son and daughter, Dalton and Alyssa, will give the audience a lesson in civics. The two will discuss the township committee form of government Cinnaminson has.

3. Cinnaminson youngsters Julia Evans and Colleen Hart will be singing the national anthem and "God Bless America."

4. John Gillespie, solicitor for Cinnaminson, will be receiving a proclamation from township committee, congratulating him on his accomplishments. In 2011, Gillespie was recognized by the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys, Michael A. Pane Award for Exemplified Highest Standards of Ethics and the Fred G. Stickel Award for Excellence in Local Government Law and Exemplary Service to the Legal Profession.   

5. All appointments for 2012—including planning board, zoning board, the sewerage authority and more—will be made this evening. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the .
